Reasonable mechanical structure design is the foundation for ensuring positioning accuracy. On the one hand, it is necessary to ensure that the input and output shafts of the indexing gearbox have sufficient rigidity to reduce deformation during operation. On the other hand, the precision of the fit between the needle roller bearing and the cam should be high, and the clearance should be uniform. For example, by using a pre tensioned needle roller bearing installation method, the bearing clearance can be removed, improving the smoothness and positioning accuracy of operation. At the same time, the box structure of the cam indexer should be sturdy, able to effectively resist external interference, and maintain the stability of the internal structure.
Accurate installation and debugging
Installation position calibration: During installation, high-precision measuring tools such as dial gauges, level gauges, etc. should be used to accurately calibrate the installation position of the indexing table. Ensure that the coaxiality error between the input and output shafts and other transmission components is within the allowable range, and avoid positioning deviation at each workstation due to installation eccentricity.
Initial gap adjustment: After installation, it is necessary to adjust the gap inside the rotary indexer. By adjusting the clearance between the cam and the needle roller bearing, it can achieve the optimal working state. Generally speaking, gap testing and fine-tuning should be carried out under both no-load and full load conditions to ensure that the positioning accuracy of each workstation is not affected by load changes. Regular maintenance and lubrication management: Regularly replace lubricating oil that meets the requirements to ensure good lubrication of key components such as cam and needle roller bearings. The performance and cleanliness of lubricating oil can affect the operational accuracy of the splitter. For example, deteriorated lubricating oil can increase friction, leading to a decrease in positioning accuracy. Wear detection: Regularly inspect the wear of cam and needle roller bearings, promptly identify and address wear issues. For components with slight wear, accuracy can be restored through repair or adjustment; For components with severe wear and tear, they should be replaced in a timely manner to ensure consistency in the positioning accuracy of each workstation. Adopting cutting-edge control systems and introducing cutting-edge automation control systems, such as PLC control systems, to monitor and adjust the operation of multi station cam dividers in real time. By collecting positioning data from sensors at each workstation and feeding it back to the control system, the control system automatically adjusts the operating parameters of the splitter according to preset accuracy standards, achieving dynamic compensation and optimization of positioning accuracy at each workstation.
