Mechanical structure
Loose parts and components
During high-speed operation, the internal parts of the index table, such as cam, roller and bearing, may be loosened due to vibration or long-term wear. Once loosened, the clearance between the components will change, resulting in increased collision and friction and abnormal noise. Check the fastening condition of each part manually through shutdown, and re-tighten the loose parts.
Wear and damage
The cam and roller surfaces may be worn, scratched or fatigue stripped after long-term use. These defects will cause poor contact between cam and roller, vibration and noise during movement. Carefully observe the surface condition of cam and roller, and replace the damaged parts in time if serious wear is found.
Drive system aspect
Motor failure
The motor is the power source of the high-speed index gearbox, and the failure of the motor may also cause abnormal noise. For example, motor bearing wear, friction between stator and rotor, short circuit of motor winding, etc. will cause noise. Special tools can be used to detect the current, voltage, speed and other parameters of the motor and judge whether the motor has faults.
Problems with transmission parts
The transmission chain, belt and other parts of the high-speed cam indexing device may be loosened, worn or have uneven tension during use. These problems will cause slipping and shaking in the transmission process, resulting in noise. Check the tension of transmission chain and belt, and replace the seriously worn parts.
Lubrication aspects
Insufficient lubrication
Good lubrication is essential for normal operation of cam indicator. If the lubricating oil is insufficient or the lubricating grease is dry, the friction between the parts will be increased and the noise will be generated. Regularly check the level and quality of lubricating oil, and replace and supplement according to the specified period.
Contamination of lubricating oil
If the lubricating oil is contaminated, contains impurities or moisture, which will affect its lubricating performance and cause abnormal noise. Sampling inspection shall be carried out for lubricating oil. If any pollution is found, new lubricating oil shall be replaced in time and the lubricating system shall be cleaned.
Heat dissipation
The cam indexing table will generate a certain amount of heat during operation. If the heat dissipation is poor, the equipment temperature will be too high, the performance of parts will be affected, and abnormal noise will be generated. Check whether the cooling fan operates normally and whether the cooling channel is blocked to ensure good heat dissipation of the equipment.
